Maintenance
Each Miyabi knife is carefully balanced to provide maximum control and comfort while slicing, chopping and filleting. Although these knives stay sharp for a very long time, Miyabi knives also become blunt over time. You can easily sharpen the knife yourself with Japanese whetstones for optimal results.
Cleaning
Never use the dishwasher to clean the knife. The aggressive detergent can dull and damage the blade and also affect the handle. Wash the knife by hand in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Allow the knife to air dry briefly before storing it safely.
